Full description
Aartee Bright Bar is a proud successor of the tradition of hot rolled products in Dudley.
The history of production can be traced back to 1865 when George Gadd established the first mill here.
The manufacturing plant itself, which is situated west of Birmingham, dates back to the 1940s when the Ductile Hot Mill was founded.
At that time the mill was supplied by Schloemann and Brightside equipment.
The 1970s and 1980s further expansion of production capacity has been made.
In 1999 the company was acquired by the American Niagara Corp, which was subsequently bought by Kohlberg. In 2011 another change of ownership occured, this time the Endless LLP took it over and the entire plant was renamed to Acenta.
Since 2018 the mill operates under the brand – AARTEE.
