Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant manufactures products like crane rails, mine rails, pit barring sections and other similar products.
Production is a full technological cycle BF shop comprises two blast furnaces with the total volume of 1,733 m3 (BF-2 – 700 m3, BF-3 – 1,033 m3) The design capacity of the shop is 1,795 thousnd t (of steelmaking iron). Steelmaking is represented by BOF shop. The shop has a total of three converters with the volume of 50 m3 each. The design capacity of the shop is 1,230 thous. t of steel PA The equipment enables to provide steel treatment with liquid synthetic slags, making up to 63 operations (heats) per day. DMZ COKE DIVISION REDUCED METALLURGICAL COKE PRODUCTION BY 52.4%
The coke department of PJSC “Dneprovsk Metallurgical Plant” (formerly “Dneprokoks”), which is part of DCH Steel of DCH Group of businessman Alexander Yaroslavsky, in January-July of this year reduced the production of metallurgical coke by 52.4% in comparison to in the same period last year – by 135 200 tons.
As a representative of the company informed the Interfax-Ukraine agency, in July the company produced 18.3 thousand tons of metallurgical coke.

The coking plant in the western part of Dnipropetrovsk city was founded in 1929 already. During the German occupation the works were completely destroyed, production was restarted in 1953.
Major modernization has been done between 1984-1988, since 2007 the plant is part of EVRAZ company. Main product is metallurgical coke for blast furnace department of Evraz DMZ Petrovskogo nearby.
