The wagon plant of Studénka was founded in 1900 as the joint-stock company of Staudinger Waggonfabrik, A.G. based in Butovice. The factory, an integral part of which was the forge from the very beginning, significantly affected the life of the citizens of the originally agricultural region.
The factory history reflects difficult social and economic development in Czech Republic. However, it also evidences its significant contribution to development of the industry in Bohemia and Moravia and its loyal service to the customers. MSV Metal Studénka, a.s. is a dignified successor respecting the forging production tradition in this significant, originally Czech factory.

Every year, our company invests heavily in establishing new workplaces, machines and keeping our equipment up to date. One major investment in 2022 was the acquisition of a new jetting machine from STEM as part of our energy savings subsidy project. This new machine replaces two very old blasting machines, thus saving energy and increasing our production capacity. The machine can blast various shaped forgings as well as tubes and sheets that we need for our bumper production. A suspension track with automatic balancers from KONECRANES & DEMAG was chosen for handling the material. The value of this entire investment was more than CZK 11 million
