NLMK Clabecq
Located in Ittre, Belgium, NLMK Clabecq produces steel plates of various thicknesses ranging from 3 to 120 mm for construction, shipbuilding, energy industries, transport and yellow goods, quarrying and mining equipment manufacturers. Its current production capacity is 750,000 tonnes a year.
Thanks to its recent investments, including an accelerated cooling system and a quenching and tempering unit (Q&T) which has just been commissioned, NLMK Clabecq is well established as a key player in the niche markets of line pipes, abrasion resistant steels (Quard), high yield strength steels (Quend), and pressure vessel steels.

Full description
The thin plate rolling mill near Brussels is the last active part of once famous plant “Forges de Claecq”, founded in 1850.
Unique rolling mill with four finishing stands was built in 1971. After the shutdown of iron and steel making in 2002 the mill became part of NLMK group. The slabs are coming from russian Lipetsk.
