Full description
The iron foundry in the port city of Santander (North of Spain) was founded in 1910 under the name Nueva Montaña Quijano and its main business were vertically cast tubes and pipes.
In 1964 a partnership was formed with Pont-á-Mousson and the foundry continued to operate under the trade name Funditubo S.A., later knowsn as the Saint-Gobain Canalización.
In 1975 the foundry in Santander applied the ductile iron to the production process of cast pipes as the first foundry in Spain.
