Uxa foundry in Brno was foudned by Uxa family in 1886 already and belongs among the oldest metalurgical companies in Czech Republic nowadays.
During the nationalization in 1948 the foundry was merged within large Juran plant complex and the production focused on military sortiment only.
The works were privatized in 1993 again.
Former four cupola furnaces were replaced by two rotary furnaces of 8t and 3,5t capacity. The production range consists of chain, chain wheels and individual series of grey-iron casts.
